Overview

IEM is an interactive, in-store kiosk experience operated by IEM Retail, LLC (“IEM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), designed to help users discover and explore fragrance and beauty products in a retail environment.

As part of this experience, users may choose to provide their mobile phone number to enhance and continue their interaction beyond the kiosk. This page explains how that SMS program works and what you’re agreeing to when you opt in.

How the Opt-In Works

During your interaction with The Beauty Capsule kiosk:

You have the option to “opt in” to receive marketing communications from our fragrance partners for discounts and promotional offers and time of checkout.
You are prompted to enter your mobile phone number.
Before submitting, you are shown clear consent language regarding SMS communications.
You receive a one-time verification code (OTP) via SMS to confirm your number.

Message & Consent

IEM Retail sends SMS messages related to the following:

Account Notifications

By providing your phone number, you automatically consent to receive the following types of messages:

One-time passcode (OTP) for session verification
Session confirmation and experience updates
Reminders to complete your in-store experience

Marketing Messages (Optional)

These messages are promotional in nature and require your explicit consent at the time of opt-in. They may include:

Product recommendations and follow-up offers
Review and feedback requests
Promotions, announcements, and brand updates from IEM or our product partners

You may opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying STOP.

Consent Disclosure Language

The following language is displayed to users at the point of opt-in on the kiosk:

“By entering your phone number, you agree to receive account notifications via SMS from IEM and our promotional partners. You may also opt in to receive marketing messages. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of marketing messages at any time. Reply HELP for assistance. View our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.”

Data & Privacy

Your phone number is used to support your IEM Retail experience and related communications and promotional offers from our fragrance partner, Fragrance.com. We do share your mobile number and sales information with fragrance.com for their marketing purposes.
